The School of Ballet Oklahoma
The distinction as the only ballet school attached to a professional company in Oklahoma City brings with it unique opportunities.
The faculty is comprised of either current or past Ballet Oklahoma dancers who provide a wide range of experience and background for the students from the professional world of dance.
However, from the perspective of the students, the greatest opportunity comes in performing with the professional members of the company in The Nutcracker and other productions throughout the year.
The School of Ballet Oklahoma offers progressive training in classical ballet from age four through adult. The program addresses the technical, musical and mental requirements of both contemporary and traditional choreography.
Students are taught in a positive atmosphere by professional instructors in three large, bright studios with floors specially designed for dance. Students may audition for roles in certain Ballet Oklahoma productions and may participate in community outreach programs and in the Spring Performance Workshop.
Students of all ages and levels may enroll at any time during the year and for the 6-week summer session.
